By creating an account or using Elm, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
Elm is a personal finance application that provides budgeting tools, savings tracking, debt management, tax estimation, and AI-powered financial coaching. Elm is a tool for financial organization and education — it is not a financial advisor, bank, or investment platform.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the App Store or your account settings.
Elm is not a financial advisor. The information provided through our app, including AI Coach responses, tax estimates, debt payoff projections, and budget suggestions, is for educational and informational purposes only. It does not constitute financial, tax, investment, or legal advice. Always consult with a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
The tax estimator feature provides estimates based on 2025 IRS data and is not a substitute for professional tax preparation. Calculations may not account for all deductions, credits, or individual circumstances. Consult a tax professional before filing.
Elm AI Coach is powered by artificial intelligence and provides general financial education. Responses may not be accurate in all cases and should not be relied upon as professional financial advice.

Your use of Elm is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We take your financial data seriously and employ bank-level security to protect it.
Elm integrates with third-party services including Plaid (bank connections) and Supabase (authentication). Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
All content, design, code, and branding of Elm — including the Elm logo, savings tree concept, Elm the Squirrel mascot, and the Elm Method — are the intellectual property of Elm and are protected by applicable laws.
Elm is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any financial decisions you make based on information provided by our app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for Elm in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms. You may delete your account and data at any time through Settings.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Elm after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States.
